Job description

The Product Owner Product - Journey & Services leads the transversal Business Analyst/Business Consultant team that designs uniform, scalable end-to-end customer journeys across the SME/Scalable product portfolio and that holds the quality bar on operational readiness. You do not own a product backlog (that stays with the Communicate & Collaborate and Secured Connectivity Product Owners) but your team’s outputs (journey designs, EPIC-ready requirements with acceptance criteria, readiness sign-off) are the inputs that make their delivery work.

Product Journey & Services is the cluster’s connective tissue. You optimise the deployment, coaching and growth of a multi-disciplinary Business Analyst/Business Consultant team; you safeguard journey uniformity and reusable patterns across all products; you act as the authority in management discussions on journey choices and operational readiness, but also on how to scale our (managed) services. You are the single point of contact (SPOC) for journey-priority intake towards the platform teams. As a Product Owner Product - Journey & Services, you will be measured on the uniformity of journeys, on the quality of readiness (both sales and service) and handovers, on team effectiveness, and on whether product and platform teams experience one clear way of working. You provide the engine to make the scalable product portfolio a reality.

Your responsibilities as a Product Owner - Journey & Services

  • You steer optimal team deployment, focus and knowledge build-up. You remove blockers. You coach team members on stakeholder management, communication, ownership, analytical thinking, journey design and change enablement.
  • You safeguard journey standards across all products in the Mini-Midi portfolio. You ensure your team’s output is EPIC-ready, with explicit acceptance criteria, as the quality bar towards the Product Owners who own the product backlogs.
  • You ensure readiness in close collaboration with delivery & services, BEAT & Commercial. You safeguard clean handovers from build to run. You bring fact-based input into management decisions on go/no-go, scope and timing.
  • You are the SPOC for journey priorities into the BEAT platform teams. You safeguard uniformity in intake - no parallel channels. You work closely with the product teams (C&C and Secured Connectivity), the Digital P0 and the Managed Services PM, and you build the bridges that the cluster depends on.
  • You decide on journey standards and uniformity, the quality bar for EPIC-ready (including acceptance criteria), deployment and coaching within the BA/BC team.
  • You influence platform priorities via the SPOC role and stakeholder alignment., * You combine senior Business Analyst/Business Consultant leadership with hands-on journey-design and operational-readiness expertise, process design, customer-journey design, change enablement, backlog and delivery management., * Mobility budget: compose your own mobility plan, you can opt for a company car or alternative mobility solutions
  • Meal vouchers and eco vouchers
  • Telework allowance or net expense allowance
  • Mobile phone, mobile subscription, laptop, and employee discounts
  • Collective bonus and individual bonus (aligned with your performance)
  • Hospitalization insurance (including an ambulatory plan) and group insurance
  • 20 days of paid leave and 12 compensatory days off

We value your ongoing development, investing in growth via our internal learning platform, coaching, and on-the-job training. You will have opportunities to keep learning and further strengthen yourself in your role.

We also prefer working closely together. We believe strong teams form by frequent interactions and quick transitions. To facilitate a smooth onboarding and rapid integration for new employees, we expect you to be present in the office at least three days a week during the first six months. On other days, you can work remotely from home.

Requirements

  • You have a Master / Engineering / ICT degree (or equivalent through experience) and 8+ years in telecom, ICT or comparable B2B-service environments, of which a minimum of 3 years in a lead role over Business Analyst / Business Consultant / journey-design profiles.
  • You bring strong strategic and conceptual thinking, comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, customer-centric, with the analytical depth to set direction and review your team’s output as the quality bar.
  • You lead through influence without authority, building credibility with Product Owners, platform leads and operational stakeholders rather than through hierarchy.
  • You bring a servant-leadership and agile mindset, you create the conditions for the team to perform, you remove blockers, and you coach individual growth.
  • You are fluent in scaled-agile ways of working (SAFe, scrum, PI Planning, scrum-of-scrums) and in tools such as Jira and Confluence; experience in chains involving CRM, order, billing and service platforms is a strong plus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch (or French) and English, both spoken and written.

Benefits & conditions

In addition to a thirteenth-month salary and holiday pay, you can count on an extensive package of extra benefits that supports you in your daily life as well as at work.
