Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AWS Support Engineer with strong operational support experience across AWS cloud infrastructure, incident response, monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and service ownership., As an AWS Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining secure, stable, highly available AWS-hosted platforms in a live managed services environment., * Supporting production AWS infrastructure

  • Incident triage, diagnosis, remediation, and service restoration
  • Root cause analysis and problem management
  • Monitoring and alert management
  • Patching, upgrades, backups, certificate renewals
  • Infrastructure changes and release support
  • AWS security, IAM governance, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Operational runbook creation and maintenance
  • Working with UK and global teams in a follow-the-sun model
  • Participation in an on-call escalation rota

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project implementation?, We’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in AWS support / cloud operations / DevOps / infrastructure support
  • Strong AWS experience including:
  • EC2
  • S3
  • RDS
  • VPC
  • EKS
  • ElastiCache
  • Linux administration
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible
  • Docker / Kubernetes
  • Monitoring tools such as:
  • CloudWatch
  • Grafana
  • Prometheus
  • Loki
  • PRTG
  • Incident management experience
  • SLA-driven service support experience, * Project implementation: 2 years (required)
