Job description

  • Own the technical delivery of ADAS feature integration at vehicle level, spanning sensors, domain ECUs, software, networks and overall system behaviour
  • Lead the bring-up and integration of ADAS sensors (camera, radar, ultrasonic and associated components), including flashing, configuration and calibration
  • Drive the resolution of complex system issues, leading triage, root cause analysis and cross-functional coordination across hardware, software, calibration and suppliers
  • Plan and support vehicle-level testing and validation activities, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved in a timely manner
  • Provide technical leadership within the integration team, supporting and mentoring more junior engineers
  • Act as a key technical interface between ADAS feature teams, central integration, partners and suppliers, influencing both system design and integration approach

Requirements

  • Significant experience delivering ADAS system integration at full vehicle level, with a strong track record of successful programme support
  • Deep understanding of ADAS architectures, including perception sensors, ECUs, vehicle networks and end-to-end data flows
  • Proven ability to lead the resolution of complex vehicle-level issues, driving clear outcomes across multiple engineering domains
  • Strong practical knowledge of ADAS sensing technologies (camera, radar, ultrasonic, with lidar desirable)
  • Experience working with vehicle networks, diagnostics and system-level analysis tools
  • Skilled in interpreting logs, signals and real-world vehicle behaviour to accurately identify root causes
  • Confident operating across the full development lifecycle, from requirements through integration, validation and sign-off, with the ability to influence without direct authority

JLR is looking for a Senior ADAS System Integration Engineer (Vehicle Level) to play a key role in bringing next-generation driver assistance technologies to life. This is a hands-on, technically focused position at the heart of vehicle integration, where you’ll work across sensors, ECUs, software and vehicle networks to ensure complex systems come together and perform as intended on the vehicle.

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end system bring-up and integration, leading the investigation and resolution of complex issues across ADAS features at a full vehicle level. Acting as a central technical point, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, driving clear issue triage, reporting progress, and ensuring that risks are understood and managed. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to validation and verification activities, supporting the journey through to successful vehicle sign-off.
