Enterprise Platform Architect & Tech Lead

AI is a core priority of this role. You lead the shift from experimentation to real, scalable impact.

• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures leveraging company data for intelligent search and decision support
• Assess and deploy agentic workflows orchestrating processes across ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms
• Leverage N8N and similar orchestration tools to automate workflows across systems
• Drive adoption of low-code / no-code platforms within controlled and governed frameworks (e.g. Make, Bubble, Lovable)
• Ensure API-first AI integration: reusable, composable, auditable services
• Lead proof-of-concepts and transform successful experiments into enterprise-grade solutions
• Build and govern a central AI and application toolkit, tracking usage and performance
• Enable future AI use cases such as product recommendations, pricing optimisation, demand forecasting, process automation, intelligent customer interaction

1. Foster communities and drive adoption * Build and lead communities of practice across architecture, data, AI, and digital tools * Promote tools, standards, and good practices through workshops, documentation, and internal communication * Engage credibly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Act as a trusted voice on technology topics across the organisation

2. Integrate across the technology landscape The company’s core stack Infor M3 (ERP), HubSpot (CRM), Magento (e-commerce), Azure (cloud), Power BI (analytics) must operate as a coherent ecosystem.

• Define and evolve the target architecture of the digital platform
• Ensure end-to-end integration across systems
• Govern data flows, APIs, and shared services
• Define scalable integration patterns and eliminate point-to-point connections
• Support and challenge engineering teams and vendors without becoming a bottleneck

1. Secure the foundations * Identify and address structural technical debt early * Balance innovation speed with long-term sustainability * Structure data foundations as a shared enterprise capability (Azure & Power BI) * Enforce best practices in security, resilience, performance, observability

2. Define and enforce standards, patterns, and documentation * Define and govern architecture standards and design patterns across all domains * Maintain clear and usable architecture documentation (topology, data models, integrations, APIs, security) * Establish guidelines for teams, vendors, and partners to ensure consistency across the ecosystem * Own: decision logs, architecture review processes, pattern libraries * Ensure all major technical decisions are documented, justified, and traceable * Define onboarding standards enabling fast and reliable integration of new teams and partners

Scope Evolution Depending on the candidate’s profile and the evolution of the IT organisation, the CIO may extend the scope of this role to include direct management responsibility over the following teams. All such decisions remain at the CIO’s sole discretion.

• Azure Architecture & Security: lead the Azure architect and security function, ensuring full alignment with enterprise standards and infrastructure strategy
• System Administration: oversee the sysadmin function, ensuring platform stability, performance and operational security across all environments
• Technical Support Team: manage the technical support unit, driving service quality, incident resolution and operational continuity, In the near term, the role will focus on structuring and scaling the customer-facing technology ecosystem:
• E-commerce (Magento)
• CRM (HubSpot)
• Digital and omnichannel experiences

• 10+ years in architecture / technical leadership roles in complex enterprise environments, with strong exposure to B2B and/or B2C commercial platforms, marketplace models and omnichannel customer experiences
• Hands-on familiarity with ERP-centric environments (Infor M3 or equivalent), CRM platforms (HubSpot or equivalent), e-commerce platforms (Magento or equivalent), Azure cloud infrastructure and Power BI
• Proven track record of establishing and maintaining technical standards, architecture documentation and governance frameworks
• Proven track record of taking AI or automation initiatives from experimentation to production
• Experience working across multiple IT domains in an international environment at different levels of maturity and execution velocity, * Architecture & Governance: Enterprise & platform architecture on Azure; API design & management; event-driven architecture; domain-driven design (DDD); architecture documentation and decision record practices
• Platform & Integration Stack: Infor M3 integration patterns; HubSpot API and CRM data model; Magento (Adobe Commerce) architecture; Azure services (hosting, networking, identity, monitoring); Power BI data flows and semantic layer
• AI & Automation: RAG pipeline design and deployment; AI agent frameworks; N8N or equivalent orchestration platforms; low-code and no-code integration platforms including evaluation of tools such as Lovable, Make and Bubble; LLM integration patterns and API-based AI service design; knowledge graph and knowledge base design
• Data: Data modelling & pipelines; semantic layer; analytics foundations; ML-ready data preparation
