Job description

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule., * Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams to define and develop flight management system requirements

  • Design and define flight management system architectures and interfaces
  • Perform system integration and testing to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Support the certification process for flight management systems
  • Provide support and oversight to less experienced Systems Engineers on the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Experience in leading complex engineering projects and providing technical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of flight management systems and avionics
