Software Developer

• Developing, testing, and delivering high-quality software solutions
• Working across the full software development lifecycle on global applications
• Supporting and enhancing existing systems to agreed service levels
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges
• Contributing innovative ideas and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting the deployment of major projects and system enhancements
• Ensuring development standards and best practices are consistently followed

Do you have experience in UNIX?, * Degree-qualified in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent commercial experience

• Experience delivering software development projects in a commercial environment
• Preferably expertise using PROGRESS
• Knowledge of relational databases and database querying
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for developing robust solutions
• Ability to manage changing priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of enterprise-scale applications and global business operations
• Commitment to coding standards, quality, and continuous learning
