Job description

  • Designing, building and optimising modern web applications using React, TypeScript & Next.js
  • Delivering high-quality, accessible UI experiences that delight our customers
  • Owning frontend performance and continuously improving speed and reliability
  • Writing and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright)
  • Collaborating closely with Product, Design and Backend teams to deliver seamless features
  • Contributing to API design and integration strategies
  • Taking part in code reviews, driving quality and shared best practice
  • Proactively identifying risks and supporting smooth delivery within Agile squads, * Work on products that genuinely improve pet care at scale
  • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering team

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Experience in frontend development

  • Strong skills in TypeScript, React and Next.js
  • Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture (SSR, SSG, routing, performance)
  • Experience with testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, version control and best engineering practices
  • A passion for accessible, inclusive design
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Storybook, Figma and reusable component design (Atomic Design)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • Understanding of REST APIs and backend integration
