Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the network infrastructure, focusing on configuring and managing Cisco equipment and other network technologies. This role involves working on current platform upgrades and ensuring seamless network operations across various systems and devices., * Use the Cisco CLI to configure ethernet interfaces and VLANS

• Understand and implement SD-WAN and policy-based routing
• Check and modify ACLs and manage Cisco FTD firewalls
• Diagnose network loops and errors
• Rack, stack, and cable equipment correctly
• Work with Cisco, Aruba, HP, and other equipment families
• Manage DSLAMS, Cradlepoints, Starlinks, cell extenders, and point-to-point microwave systems
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Serve as ITD network ambassadors

• Proficiency with Cisco CLI
• Experience with configuring ethernet interfaces and VLANS
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and policy-based routing
• Ability to diagnose network loops and errors
• Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, HP equipment
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Ability to read the room and communicate effectively

Network Engineer - Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with homelabs
• Knowledge of application servers, firewalls, and VPNs
• Familiarity with Proxmox, VMs, and Docker/ECS/Kubernetes
• Understanding of PAT pools and protocols
• Experience with Nanobeams and Airfibers
