Job description

We’re built differently from traditional ERP consultancies. Our mission is to change how ERP is delivered, moving away from large-scale, impersonal delivery models towards a more boutique, hands-on approach that prioritises quality, accountability, and real client outcomes.

We focus on delivering exceptional work through small, highly experienced teams that stay close to the client and the solution. We’re intentionally structured to maintain that quality, agility, and personal approach as we grow.

We’ve built Partomer to be the kind of consultancy we’d actually want to work in , and we’re now looking to add more experienced and hungry people into the team.

Role Description

This is a full-time role within one of our small, agile delivery pods.

As a Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant, you’ll play a leading role in delivering high-quality solutions, working closely with both clients and your technical counterpart. You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, including:

  • Discovery workshops
  • Requirements gathering and solution design
  • Configuration and delivery
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Training and user adoption
  • Go-live and ongoing support

You’ll be part of a lean pod structure, with clear ownership of delivery, quality, and client outcomes. This setup allows for closer collaboration, faster decision-making, and a stronger sense of ownership over your work.

Location & Travel

Partomer operates a primarily remote model, with flexibility to work from home.

You’ll be expected to visit our Bolton office periodically for collaboration and key sessions. The role also involves regular travel to client sites, primarily across the North West and Yorkshire.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled, multi-disciplinary developer who can work within a range of technologies centring around Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and can work across the full technology stack.

You should be personable and able to talk technology to clients and stakeholders at the appropriate level, with a strong aptitude for solution design and problem solving.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions
  • Comfortable working across multiple technologies and domains
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Passion for learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies, * Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Proficiency in AL and C/AL development
  • Solid experience with .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+)
  • Full-stack development experience including:
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • HTML, CSS, and web APIs
  • Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience with system integration and middleware concepts
  • Understanding of SQL databases and data structures
  • Experience working with source control (Git) and modern development workflows
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines

Desirable Skills

  • Modern web frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Experience integrating with Shopify, EDI systems, or other eCommerce platforms
  • Knowledge of Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.)
  • Experience with third-party Business Central apps and extensions
  • Exposure to other programming languages or platforms outside the Microsoft stack

  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
  • Flexible, remote-first working
