As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC’s Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Denver, CO., * Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.

  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UI development?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Software Engineers. Candidates should have experience with the following:

Proven experience in a Software Development Lead or similar leadership role

Strong background in code reviews, mentoring, and team development

Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework

Front-end development expertise using Angular framework

Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs

Database experience with Oracle

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as OpenShift and/or Kubernetes

Experience with Python (preferred)
