Job description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Front-End Developer to join our Creative Tech & Governance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the core of our internal design systems, supporting and developing robust, reusable UI components and libraries using modern web technologies. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital interfaces and exploring groundbreaking AI-powered design and development workflows.   • Collaborate closely with designers and other developers to translate design specifications into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our component architecture, tooling, and development processes.
  • Actively explore and experiment with AI-powered design and development workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and creativity within the team.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to front-end development and design system integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and AI in design.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), with a solid understanding of modern web development principles.
  • Demonstrable experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular) and their ecosystems.
  • Experience or strong understanding of developing and maintaining components within a design system context.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset, eager to learn new technologies and approaches.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
  • Familiarity with design tool integration principles (e.g., Figma APIs).
  • Exposure to finance technology or financial services.
  • Any experience or interest in AI/ML concepts as applied to design or development.
