Studio Project Manager (Remote)

We’re looking for a Project Manager to bring structure and delivery discipline across multiple active projects spanning software development, art and design, QA, and ongoing delivery in a live service environment.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and have visibility into strategic conversations, but the heart of this role is hands-on project management; keeping complex, cross-functional work organized and moving.

The role suits someone comfortable working across both development and creative production, who understands the realities of iterative delivery. You should be highly organized, confident using Jira as a real operational tool, and able to support teams through planning, review, QA, polish, and release cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Track and drive progress across multiple active projects and workstreams.
• Coordinate work across software development, art/design, QA, and leadership.
• Maintain and improve Jira workflows, processes, and automation to support delivery.
• Ensure tasks, milestones, dependencies, and blockers are visible and actively managed.
• Support the team through iterative review, feedback, testing, and polishing cycles.
• Identify project risks, delivery issues, and process gaps early, and help keep work on track.
• Improve project structure and follow-through without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Provide clear status updates and delivery visibility to leadership.

Do you have experience in Unity?, * 2+ years of experience managing projects for a cross-functional production team., Required:

• 2+ years of experience managing projects for a cross-functional production team.
• Strong Jira experience.
• Experience working with software development teams.
• Experience coordinating art/design workflows alongside development.
• Experience in agile or iterative delivery environments.
• Experience coordinating QA/testing and review cycles.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Must be located between UTC-5 and UTC+3.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Unity-based products.
• Experience in edtech.
• Experience working on live products with ongoing post-release development, support, and iteration.

• Entirely Remote (must be located between UTC-5 and UTC+3 time zones).
• 6-month initial contract, with genuine possibility of longer-term work.
• $35,000-$45,000 USD per annum, based on experience., * Meaningful work. We build tools that help people learn; for universities, for professional development, for First Nations communities. You’ll work on things that matter beyond the balance sheet.
• Genuinely flexible. We have collaborative hours (12:00-17:00 UTC) for meetings and synchronous communication. Beyond that, you manage your own schedule. We care about what you deliver, not when you’re online.

UniVirtual builds interactive learning experiences for immersive 3D environments. Using Unity and our proprietary virtual learning platform, we virtualize and gamify courses, labs, and training. We work primarily for higher education, but also for corporate training and First Nations communities in the US and Canada.
