Job description
As an Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure Automation (m/f/d), your primary focus will be on systematically automating infrastructure, reducing manual processes, and building scalable platforms.
You will work at the intersection of infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and modern platform engineering practices - always with the goal of minimizing repetitive tasks, empowering development teams, and creating stable, automated environments.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across SRE, DevOps, and Infrastructure disciplines in a highly collaborative environment with plenty of room for ownership and initiative.

We’re not looking for a traditional operations or system administrator profile. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about systematically automating and simplifying infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure and recurring processes using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or comparable technologies
- Design, standardize, and scale Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
- Build automated platforms and self-service capabilities
- Enhance and standardize Kubernetes-based platform environments
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Reduce manual effort through automation, standardization, and platform engineering approaches
- Optimize infrastructure with regard to scalability, security, cost efficiency, and performance
- Support infrastructure modernization, cloud integration, and platform transformation initiatives
Requirements
- Fluent German language skills at C1 level or higher, both written and spoken
- Experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and modern deployment practices
- Ideally, experience with multi-cloud and/or hybrid infrastructure environments
- A hands-on mindset and a passion for simplifying and automating complex processes
- Ideally, programming skills in Go, Python, or comparable technologies
