We are seeking a highly skilled DV Cleared SQL DBA to join a critical programme within a secure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a DV Cleared SQL DBA to work on high-impact systems, supporting database performance, security, and reliability across complex enterprise platforms.

Your responsibilities as the DV Cleared SQL DBA:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server environments within highly secure, DV-cleared settings.
• Optimise database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and resource management.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies (eg, Always On, clustering, backups).
• Support database security, access controls, and compliance with strict governance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to support deployments and upgrades.
• Implement best practices for database maintenance, patching, and capacity planning.

As a successful DV Cleared SQL DBA, you will have:

• Active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance
• Proven experience working as a DV Cleared SQL DBA in secure or government environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of security best practices within classified environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills within secure programmes.
