In this role, you will design, build, and operate cloud-based AI solutions that support various products and operations. Partnering closely with engineering, data, product, and business teams, this role focuses on translating business needs into scalable, secure, and responsible AI capabilities. You will be a hands-on engineer who builds cloud-native APIs, microservices, and event-driven components to integrate AI models with platforms, data, and products, while evaluating and recommending AI platforms and tools. This is a hybrid role working onsite in Bloomington, MN 3x a week.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years building production software.

  • 3-5+ years in ML/AI engineering (AI Agent, chatbot, LLM creation).

  • Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) plus C#, Java, or JavaScript; experience with REST APIs.

  • Experience with Cloud AI services (Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search/vector, Cognitive Services, Functions, Event Hub/Service Bus, Key Vault).

  • Solid SQL and NoSQL database experience.

  • Proven MLOps/LLMOps experience: pipelines, model/package registries, versioning, evaluation, and drift/quality monitoring.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator, able to partner with business stakeholders and vendors; demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and influence. * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

  • DevOps expertise: Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Bicep/Terraform).

  • Experience with security and governance: AI threat modeling, RBAC, secret management, network isolation, compliance, and secure integrations.

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot Studio/agents), D365, SharePoint, Databricks/Synapse/Fabric; Azure AI Engineer or Solutions Architect certifications.
