Job description
You will be responsible for delivering first and second-line support to approximately 70 Head Office users, regional offices, and a remote workforce of over 200 employees nationwide. Working closely with and reporting to the Directors, you’ll also play a key role in shaping and implementing the company’s IT systems strategy, including evaluating, procuring, and rolling out new hardware, software, and network solutions.

- Provide professional, efficient technical support for Head Office and remote staff (in-person, phone, and remote desktop tools).
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues promptly.
- Administer the IT Helpdesk system; prioritising, assigning, and tracking support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
Server & Network Administration
- Manage daily Veeam Backup and restoration processes.
- Administer Windows Server environments (2003/2008/2012/2019), including Active Directory, group policies, and access control.
- Oversee network performance, including DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, and DNS management.
- Configure and maintain VPN routers and gateway tunnels.
Hardware & Systems Management
- Maintain physical and virtual server environments (VMware/VSphere and Cloud infrastructure).
- Manage IT stock levels and procurement of hardware and peripherals.
- Administer mobile device management systems, including setup, restrictions, and SIM management.
- Maintain and report on the VoIP system, including call data and usage analytics.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TCP/IP?, Essential:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft server environments (2003-2019).
- Experience with VMware/VSphere virtualisation.
- Active Directory and group policy administration.
- Solid networking knowledge: DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS.
- Experience with CPanel-hosted email and web management.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and Windows OS (XP, 7, 8, 10, 11).
- Familiarity with Veeam backup and disaster recovery.
- Antivirus rollout and administration (e.g. Avast Enterprise Protection).
Desirable:
- Linux server management.
- FTP/SFTP data exchange.
- SQL/MySQL database administration.
- Web content management.
- Experience using Spiceworks or similar helpdesk tools.
