Salesforce Developer / Administrator - Genesys Cloud Integration (Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer/Administrator to lead the integration of Genesys Cloud Contact Center with Salesforce for a large public-sector customer. This consultant will be responsible for delivering a complete, turn-key solution that integrates contact center functionality, automates workflows, supports testing initiatives, and adheres to established SDLC and Agile development processes., * Design, develop, and implement integrations between Salesforce and Genesys Cloud Contact Center.

• Gather business and technical requirements through stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
• Collaborate with program teams, business users, architects, and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce workflows, automation, APIs, permissions, and system configurations.

• Create comprehensive technical documentation for all non-UI and system-level changes, including:

• Workflow documentation
• API documentation
• Decision trees
• Process flow diagrams
• Integration specifications
• Security and permission documentation
• Develop automated testing scripts to validate workflows and integrations.
• Integrate automated testing assets into existing testing libraries and frameworks.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and coordinate testing efforts with business stakeholders.
• Follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and deployment standards.
• Build and manage code branches and deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.
• Present architectural designs and technical solutions for review and approval prior to development.
• Coordinate closely with Salesforce Administrators for access management, code promotions, and platform governance activities.

UI Development Responsibilities (As Needed)

If user interface modifications are required, the consultant will:

• Design and develop Salesforce UI enhancements.
• Document user requirements and functional specifications.
• Create manual and automated test scripts.
• Support deployment and promotion activities across environments.

• Ensure all changes meet established quality and compliance standards., This engagement will operate within an Agile environment and requires participation in:

• Sprint Planning
• Daily Standups
• Sprint Reviews
• Retrospectives
• Requirements Gathering Sessions
• Architecture Review Meetings
• User Acceptance Testing Coordination

The selected consultant will be expected to deliver a complete, production-ready solution while collaborating closely with business, architecture, and platform administration teams.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce administration and development, API integrations, contact center technologies, technical documentation, and Agile delivery methodologies. Experience integrating Genesys Cloud with Salesforce is highly preferred., * 5+ years of Salesforce Administration and/or Salesforce Development experience.

• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with third-party platforms using APIs and web services.
• Experience with Genesys Cloud integrations or similar contact center platforms.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, permissions, workflows, and automation tools.
• Experience developing technical documentation and system design artifacts.
• Experience creating automated testing scripts and supporting QA initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience working within structured SDLC environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer Certification.
• Experience with public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and deployment automation tools.

Part-Time - 11 hours a week - 4-6 Month Contract (Approximately 300 Hours Total)
