Job description
Sales and Pre-Sales Support:
- Serve as a trusted SCM advisor to prospective clients, engaging with supply chain leaders and key business stakeholders to understand their challenges across procurement, inventory, order management, manufacturing, planning, and logistics.
- Lead SCM discovery sessions to gather detailed business requirements and map them to Oracle Fusion SCM capabilities.
- Develop and deliver compelling, client-specific Oracle Fusion SCM demos that highlight value, leading practices, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to qualify SCM opportunities, support SCM-related RFPs/RFQs, and shape winning solution strategies.
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Lead design workshops to define end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion SCM implementations.
- Translate complex supply chain requirements into scalable, cohesive Oracle Fusion SCM designs and develop detailed design documentation for delivery teams.
- Provide expert guidance on Oracle Fusion SCM leading practices, including module configuration (e.g., Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics).
- Oversee SCM solution architecture across integrations, data flows, master data models, and reporting solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Analytics.
- Ensure strong alignment between business process needs and system capabilities within SCM.
Project Delivery and Management:
- Serve as the lead SCM architect throughout the implementation lifecycle-from design and build to testing, go-live, and post-production support.
- Manage SCM solution scope, deliverables, and project timelines to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Mentor functional and technical SCM consultants, ensuring design consistency across teams.
- Partner with client supply chain teams to manage change, support adoption, and ensure long-term SCM transformation success.
- Act as the escalation point for complex SCM issues, collaborating with Oracle Support as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, ERP/SCM technology, or consulting roles, including at least 4+ years as a Solution Architect for Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud.
- Deep functional and technical expertise across Oracle Fusion SCM modules and supply chain integration touchpoints.
- Proven experience leading full-cycle Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud implementations.
- Strong ability to articulate complex SCM and technical concepts to both business and IT audiences.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes including sourcing, procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, and order-to-cash.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, and other Oracle ecosystem integration tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, MIS, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
