Job description

  • Define integration patterns, data flows, functional architecture and system interactions.
  • Shape the technology roadmap, influencing design decisions with senior business and IT stakeholders.
  • Provide architectural governance and oversight across multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
  • Operate in a hybrid model: 1-2 days per week in Reading, remainder remote.

Requirements

  • Strong background in retail application architecture, ideally across stock, planning, fulfilment or PoS.
  • Proven experience designing large-scale, multi-system retail architectures.
  • Solid understanding of retail processes, data flows and operational dependencies.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman or equivalent architectural frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and client-facing skills.
