Job description
We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics Consultant / Data Scientist to join our IT services and digital transformation team. This role focuses on advanced data analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to support enterprise clients in optimizing operations, improving system performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
The opportunity:

Data Analytics & Data Science

Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational optimization.

Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to forecast demand, detect anomalies, and improve system performance.

Apply advanced analytics techniques including:

Time series forecasting

Statistical modeling
-
Machine learning and AI algorithms

Exploratory data analysis
-
Perform data mining and feature engineering to extract meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data.

Data Engineering & Data Management
-
Extract, clean, and transform data using Python, SQL, R, and cloud-based data platforms.

Integrate multiple data sources into unified analytics environments to support enterprise reporting and decision-making.

Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across analytical workflows.

Data Visualization & Reporting
-
Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau, Excel, or custom visualization platforms.

Present insights through clear visualizations and executive-level reports.

Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Business & Strategic Analytics
-
Translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.

Support strategic planning by forecasting trends and identifying high-impact optimization opportunities.

Collaborate with business teams to define analytics use cases and KPIs aligned with organizational goals.

Consulting & Client Engagement
-
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and operations to implement analytics solutions.

Facilitate technical workshops and presentations with stakeholders and executive leadership.
-
Provide subject matter expertise on AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics applications.

Leadership & Collaboration
-
Lead analytics initiatives and mentor junior analysts or engineers.
-
Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions.

Promote best practices in data science, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field

Benefits & conditions
Health insurance, 401(k) matching, Vision insurance, Health savings account, Dental insurance, Paid sick time, Paid jury duty, Flexible spending account, Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below., Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws., Compensation range: $ 72,000.00 to 108,000.00 per year
