Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will take ownership of core services, system architecture, and API development. You won’t just be writing endpoints-you will be shaping the backend structure that supports product growth, scalability, and long-term technical direction. You will work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions and ensure our systems remain fast, stable, and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend System Development:

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices that power core product functionality.

System Architecture:

Contribute to architecture decisions involving distributed systems, performance optimization, and scalability planning.

Database & Data Design:

Develop and optimize relational and/or NoSQL database structures for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Cloud & Infrastructure Collaboration:

Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain production systems.

Performance & Reliability:

Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, ensuring high availability and low latency.

Code Quality & Collaboration:

Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Do you have experience in Implementing APIs?, 5+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable systems and production-grade APIs.

Technical Skills:

Strong experience with Node.js, Java, Python, or similar backend technologies.

System Design:

Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and scalable backend design principles.

Databases:

Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and schema design.

Cloud Experience:

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and deploying backend services in cloud environments.

Engineering Mindset:

You think in terms of scalability, reliability, and maintainability. You know when to optimize and when to ship.
