Cloud Operations Architect, Enterprise Support Emea South

AWS EMEA SARL (Spain Branch) is seeking a Cloud Operations Architect to enhance customers’ value and service from AWS. This role focuses on crafting strategies for AWS service adoption while ensuring operational health and efficiency. This is not a sales role, but rather an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and ‘voice of the customer’ to organizations ranging from start-ups to large enterprises in commercial and public sector., * Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.

• Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
• Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Consult with partners ranging from developers to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
• Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
• Provide detailed reviews of service events, monthly & quarterly metrics, and pre-launch planning.
• Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and experience in technical engineering. Additionally, familiarity with AWS services is preferred, along with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders., * Experience in technical engineering.

Conocimientos

Technical engineering AWS services experience, As a COA you will help craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services - including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more. Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will enable you to represent AWS within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy. The close relationships you build will allow you to understand their business and technical challenges, helping them achieve the greatest value from AWS. This position requires the ability to travel 10% or more as needed., * Experience in technical engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
• Experience in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
