Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Help Desk Analyst specializing in inventory management within the court system’s Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). The Inventory Specialist manages inventory and asset records, receives and distributes materials, conducts inventory audits, maintains accurate stock levels, and ensures organizational resources are tracked, stored, and available for use., The Administrative Office of the Courts is committed to supporting the mission of the Idaho Courts through the use of an agile approach that aligns strategy, work, and capacity. Major Duties and Responsibilities: (The examples provided do not cover all of the duties which the incumbent of this position may be required to perform.)

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment, supplies, materials, and organizational assets.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, distributions, and disposals.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient access and accountability.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical audits to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged goods.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and inventory control standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement staff and internal departments regarding inventory needs and deliveries.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including stocking, labeling, packaging, and shipping activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, efficiency, and asset accountability.
  • Support annual inventory reviews, audits, and asset verification initiatives.
  • Operate inventory management software and other tracking tools to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of inventory and organizational assets.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational operations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Workplace safety?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, The Idaho Courts reserve the right to consider an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the major responsibilities of the position.

Education and Experience:

  • Some inventory experience preferred
  • High School Diploma.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving, storage, and distribution processes.
  • Knowledge of auditing and inventory reconciliation procedures.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices related to inventory handling and storage.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures related to asset management and inventory control., * Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record bkeeping.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and database systems.
  • Skill in data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Skill in analyzing inventory data and identifying discrepancies.
  • Customer service skills for supporting internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
