Job description
- This role supports a lab infrastructure environment where hardware/network features are validated after development work is completed.
- Testing focuses on CMTS functionality and smart amplifiers across 10-12 on-site environments plus virtual sites.
- The team also supports field triage, including recreating issues in the lab and helping drive fixes., * Execute manual QA/QC testing for lab infrastructure and network device functionality (CMTS + smart amplifiers).
- Validate completed development work and document results clearly for stakeholders.
- Support and maintain testing across multiple lab environments (on-site and virtual).
- Create, update, and deliver test documentation and test reports (plans, cases, execution results, defect summaries).
- Track work and defects using Jira (ticket creation, updates, retest/verification).
- Assist with issue triage: reproduce field issues in the lab, capture evidence/logs, and collaborate with engineering on resolution.
- Coordinate with a separate automation team (align on coverage, provide feedback on what should be automated, etc.)., * From your first day, you’ll have the support and resources needed to grow your career to new heights and direction.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Telecommunications RF engineering?, * Previous QA/testing experience
- Background in networking infrastructure - DOCSIS highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with RF equipment (setup, use during testing, interpreting results).
- Python, Ruby, or similar scripting experience highly preferred.
