Job description
- Designs, develops, builds, and implements new cooling system components, products, or technologies.
- Responsibilities:
- 3D design components/systems Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
- Extensive customer communication and collaboration, developing a production ready product.
- Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists.
- Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in buy-build analysis for product components.
- Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports., * Design or modify cooling components/systems based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to define scope and limitations.
- Review customer requests and estimate time/cost.
- Work independently and manage time effectively.
- Apply knowledge of system development lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Use thermodynamics, thermal simulation, and structural analysis basics.
- Expert in Creo 3D modeling, Teamcenter processes, and print release.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Thermal control?, * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field required.
- 3-4 years’ experience required.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of cooling systems technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
- Generates specifications for parts or components with Creo CAD software.
- Reuses design components via reusable libraries following standard procedures.
- Uses Creo CAD to perform intermediate drafting such as wire frames, solid objects and array of objects, including but not limited to fabrications, castings and modular assemblies.
- Performs routine changes to computerized schematics or drawings.
- Creates views of objects in 2 and 3 dimensions; creates perspective drawings and orthogonal views.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
