Job description

We’re seeking a talented developer to join our team building and scaling the Invision Community platform. You’ll architect new platform features and solve complex technical challenges, with opportunities to shape both our codebase and our product direction.

What You’ll Do

Design and build scalable, maintainable features using modern development practices
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver enterprise-grade solutions
Optimize platform performance and database architecture at scale
Translate technical requirements into elegant, well-documented code
Mentor team members and contribute to our engineering culture

Requirements

Do you have experience in Scalable systems?, Required:

Strong commercial PHP development background with modern OOP practices
Proficiency with Git workflows and collaborative development
Experience integrating web services (OAuth, SAML, REST APIs, webhooks)
Track record building or maintaining large-scale web applications
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Ideal:

SaaS product development experience
Node.js/JavaScript backend experience
MySQL experience with a focus on query optimization and performance tuning
Database performance optimization and scaling strategies
Experience with modern frontend frameworks
Contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
Familiarity with TipTap is a bonus
