  • Plan and execute the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud, including re-platforming and refactoring applications for cloud-native architectures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud technologies, providing guidance and technical governance to application and infrastructure teams.
  • Lead by example with hands-on skills in areas such as Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and the creation of design patterns and Proofs of Value (PoVs).
  • Define and enforce cloud standards, best practices, and governance policies related to security, cost management (FinOps), and operational excellence.
  • Develop and deliver training to technical teams, enabling them to effectively build and manage solutions in the cloud.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture to create and maintain the cloud roadmap, and with application teams to understand their requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Act as a cloud evangelist, securing buy-in from all stakeholders, including executive leadership. Guide the overall cloud strategy, roadmapping, and cultural shift towards a cloud-first mindset.
  • Oversee relationships with cloud providers, negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure optimal cost-efficiency.
  • Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises infrastructure with public cloud services.
  • Enforce security and governance policies to ensure all cloud solutions meet industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Five or more years of experience in a senior-level cloud architect, solutions architect, or similar
  • Demonstrable expertise with at least two major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and an understanding of multi-cloud architectural patterns.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, security principles, and compliance frameworks in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with application modernization, including microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Experience with FinOps (Cloud Financial Management) practices and cost optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing data-driven solutions and data analytics platforms in the cloud.
  • Experience in Change Management: Proven ability to drive organizational change and gain buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and an understanding of how technology decisions drive business value.
  • Expertise in designing, building, and managing hybrid cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of key compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOX, PCI).
