Job description

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Power BI Specialist on a 12 Month Contract, based in East Riding of Yorkshire., * Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, dataflows, and SharePoint

  • Build and maintain robust data models to support scalable and efficient reporting
  • Manage and maintain KPI scorecards, ensuring alignment across all levels of the business
  • Ensure all reports are standardised, consistent, and follow agreed design and data quality principles
  • Monitor and maintain existing reports, resolving issues and implementing improvements as needed
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualisations
  • Support the ongoing development of reporting frameworks and best practices
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across all reporting solutions

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Specialist to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision making across the organisation. The successful candidate will transform complex data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and insights using Microsoft Power BI and related technologies.

This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with data modelling and visualisation, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions., * Strong experience with Power BI, including report development, DAX, and data modelling

  • Experience working with multiple data sources such as SQL, dataflows, Excel, and APIs
  • Good understanding of data transformation and ETL processes
  • Ability to design clear, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing KPI frameworks or scorecards is desirable
