Job description

We’re actively recruiting an IT Engineer for our client in Knoxville, TN. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a multi-client/MSP-style environment. The right person is a true IT generalist with strong networking fundamentals (Cisco Meraki preferred) and solid Windows/Microsoft infrastructure experience, comfortable owning escalations and jumping between priorities.

What You’ll Do

Provide escalated IT support across multiple client environments
Troubleshoot network issues (LAN/WAN, security, connectivity)
Handle systems administration work (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows servers)
Participate in project work (migrations, onboarding, implementations)
Work independently onsite with clients while partnering with other engineers
Document work and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

3+ years in IT support / systems / network support (IT Engineer / Project Engineer background fits well)
Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment strongly preferred
Strong networking fundamentals (Meraki a plus)
Well-rounded infrastructure experience across Windows/Microsoft tools
Proven ability to context switch and manage multiple priorities
Strong customer-facing communication skills
