Information Technology Performance Monitor

Job description

  • Manages AWS resources: Provisions, configures, and manages AWS resources such as EC2 instances, EBS volumes, VPCs, security groups, and IAM roles.
  • Monitors system performance: Monitors system performance metrics, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintains system security: Implements and enforces security best practices, including access control, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Automates tasks: Automates routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and AWS tools (e.g., AWS CLI, CloudFormation).
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues: Diagnoses and resolves technical issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications.
  • Implements and maintains backups: Implements and maintains backup and recovery procedures for AWS resources.
  • Stays current with AWS technologies: Keeps abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
  • Collaborates with teams: Works closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally., Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly.

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science)

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Required Certifications:

  • DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification.

Desired Certifications:

  • CSSP Infrastructure Support certification.
  • Any Linux related certifications.
