Job description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Web Developer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced business, supporting ongoing website development, ecommerce projects, integrations, and internal systems.

You will work closely with our existing development and ecommerce teams to support day-to-day development tasks, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects across our digital platforms.

This role would suit someone at the beginning of their development career who is keen to learn, proactive, and interested in both backend and ecommerce development., * Support the development and maintenance of company websites and ecommerce platforms

  • Assist with Shopify customisations and app integrations
  • Support internal systems and web-based projects
  • Troubleshoot website and functionality issues
  • Work alongside the wider team to improve user experience and site performance
  • Assist with testing new functionality and developments
  • Help maintain clean, organised and well-documented code

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Essential

  • Knowledge of web development principles
  • Experience with C#
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills

Desirable

  • Experience working with Shopify
  • Understanding of ecommerce platforms
  • Exposure to APIs or system integrations
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of SQL or databases, * Positive and proactive attitude
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in ecommerce and technology
  • Someone who enjoys learning and taking ownership of tasks
