Junior Web Developer

As a Junior Web Developer, you will support the development, maintenance and optimisation of websites across a variety of CMS platforms and client projects. You will work closely with our development, SEO and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, responsive and user-friendly websites.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for coding and technology who is looking to build commercial experience within a fast-paced agency environment.

You will have the opportunity to work on:

Junior candidates will receive support and guidance from senior team members, with opportunities to develop into a more advanced development role over time., * Assist in the development and maintenance of client websites

• Build and update websites across WordPress, Shopify and other CMS platforms
• Support front-end development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Assist with back-end functionality and PHP development tasks
• Work collaboratively with SEO and PPC teams to implement website improvements
• Troubleshoot website issues and support ongoing maintenance tasks
• Ensure websites are responsive, functional and optimised across devices
• Participate in internal project meetings and development planning
• Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and development best practices

Do you have experience in WordPress?, Essential Skills:

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Basic understanding of PHP and JavaScript
• Familiarity with WordPress and/or Shopify
• Basic understanding of MySQL databases
• Familiarity with hosting environments such as Plesk or cPanel
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Interest in web technologies and modern development practices
• Ability to showcase a website, app or coding project you have built

Desirable Skills:

• Experience using version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of website performance optimisation
• Familiarity with APIs or third-party integrations
• Knowledge of responsive design principles
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools
