Forward Deployed AI Engineer

We are looking for a highly proactive and business-minded Forward Deployed AI Engineer to help scale our company through AI, automation, and operational optimisation.

This role is focused on understanding how the business operates and identifying where AI can create leverage across engineering, operations, product delivery, and internal workflows.

You will work closely with leadership, developers, product teams, QA testers, and operational stakeholders to implement practical AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, accelerate development, automate repetitive work, and help the business move faster.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving real operational problems with technology and can bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.

What You’ll Do

• Audit how the company operates across engineering, product, operations, and delivery workflows
• Identify opportunities where AI can create measurable business impact and operational leverage
• Automate repetitive operational and administrative tasks
• Improve engineering productivity using AI-assisted workflows, tooling, and automation
• Speed up software development and deployment processes
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, and delivery workflows
• Integrate AI capabilities into products, systems, and internal operations
• Build rapid prototypes and practical AI-powered solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand bottlenecks and implement scalable improvements
• Continuously optimise workflows, processes, and systems across the organisation
• Assist with system integrations, APIs, automation platforms, and cloud-based services
• Support the adoption of AI tools and best practices across teams
• Contribute to technical strategy, innovation, and operational scalability

Technical Skills

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with the MERN stack:
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• React
• Node.js
• Experience integrating APIs and third-party platforms
• Experience working with AI tools, LLMs, agents, copilots, or automation systems
• Understanding of workflow automation and AI-assisted development
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with operational tooling and process automation
• Flutter/mobile development experience is beneficial but not required
