Job description

  • Responsible for the support and implementation of computer applications and local area network (LAN) operating systems.
  • Monitor and adjust systems for optimal performance. Organize and prepare system documentation.
  • Install, maintain, and support software.
  • Assist in the training and instruction of users in systems, software and applications.
  • Follow instructions from supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in computer programming which includes one year of experience in programming and/or maintenance of vendor supplied operating software OR
  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and four years of data processing experience, two years of which included computer programming and at least one year in programming and/or maintenance of vendor supplied operating software OR
  • Graduation from high school or equivalency diploma and six years of data processing experience, two of which included computer programming and at least one year of experience in programming and/or maintenance of vendor supplied operating software
  • Proven ability to interact with faculty/staff, students, and parents.
