- You will serve as a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Systems, representing the Director, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) in high-level technical matters.
- You will oversee the end-to-end implementation of Systems Security Engineering (SSE), including Hardware Assurance (HwA), Software Assurance (SwA), Supply Chain Security (SCS), and Cybersecurity across all PMO and Detachment operations.
- You will ensure the secure design, production, and service life maintainability of complex flight subsystem components supporting deployed Trident systems, Columbia Program Production, Mk7/W93 Development, and Trident D5LE2 development.
- You will define and allocate SSE requirements for non-enterprise systems. Review and coordinate Prime contractor and sub-contractor deliverables to ensure modernization initiatives satisfy overarching Strategic Weapon System (SWS) requirements.
- You will manage the protection of Critical Program Information (CPI), develop Program Protection Plans (PPP), and serve as the technical authority for evaluating security assessments to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority.
- You will act as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external partner engagements. Develop and deliver comprehensive training on SSE, CS, HwA, and SCS for the PMO workforce.
- You will act as the technical consultant on AI matters related to flight system reliability and testing. Lead the evaluation of Adversarial AI threats and guide the secure integration of Machine Learning (ML) models into weapon system lifecycles., This announcement uses the Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) Business Management & Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

Professional Engineering Series (08XX) - Substitution of Education/Experience: A combination of education and experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying professional engineering; and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering.
