Operations/Data Support Assistant

We are seeking an Operations/Data Support Assistant on a 6-month contract basis for a financial services company located in Philadelphia. This is primarily a remote position for regional candidates who specifically reside in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. The Operations/Data Support Assistant will focus on supporting the development and maintenance of procurement systems, tools, and databases, and assist with the programs and initiatives for business process improvements. Duties will include data analysis, cleansing data, reviewing departmental information, creating presentations, reviewing SOP’s, and analyzing internal departmental procedures.

Essential Duties:

· Understanding the procurement and sourcing functionality, designing, developing, and building the analytics and personalization platform at scale.

· SOP’s: Document step-by-step procedures to standardize operations. Map current-state workflows, create process documentation, and maintain version control.

· User-Friendly Presentations: Distill complex technical data and workflows into visual, easy-to-understand reports or slide decks. Present key performance metrics and process changes to stakeholders.

· Supporting senior analysts by fulfilling their data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance; Participating in initiatives to improve process efficiency and employee productivity.

· Analyzing, reviewing, and evaluating the business and the user needs and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in supporting the reporting and analytics.

· Documenting business or process requirements, scope, and objectives, and aligning the systems and processes with the organization’s overall business strategies.

· Data Cleansing: Audit datasets for accuracy, remove duplicates, fix formatting inconsistencies, and manage missing values to improve overall data quality.

· 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, operations, or business optimization.

· Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field is highly preferred.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

· Proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Self-starter, highly self-motivated with an ability to take instructions.

· Ability to prioritize work and execute tasks while under pressure.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive client data.

· Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Must be a team player and willing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and the public.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $25 - 35.
