Jan Goetz
Quantum physicist building next-generation hardware as co-CEO of IQM.
Jan Goetz builds next-generation quantum computers. A quantum physicist by training, he co-founded and leads IQM, developing quantum hardware for high-performance computing centers and research institutions. His work focuses on making superconducting quantum circuits scale into practical machines.
Before starting IQM, Jan completed his doctorate at TU Munich and researched as a Marie-Curie Fellow at Aalto University in Helsinki. Beyond the lab, he helps shape European tech policy. He holds a board seat in the European Quantum Industry Consortium and serves as a Global Innovator at the World Economic Forum.
