Senior Frontend Engineer STANDARD Marketplaces (m/f/d)

• Your work will significantly shape and enhance our Marketplaces products - jobs.derStandard.at, finden.at, and immobilien.derStandard.at
• You’ll implement and improve user-facing features with a focus on performance, accessibility, and responsive design, helping thousands of users enjoy a seamless experience across our platforms
• You’ll have a say in technical decisions, including our frontend stack, tooling, and coding standards
• You’ll play a key role in translating product ideas into well-crafted, high-quality code - always with an eye on scalability and long-term maintainability

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development, building modern web applications in a team environment
• Strong experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React), ideally in building and maintaining high-traffic, user-facing applications
• Experience with Next.js is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Node.js is a plus
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Familiarity with GraphQL, AWS, and token-based authentication methods (e.g., JWT, OAuth) is a plus
• Proficiency in TypeScript, with a strong grasp of component-based architecture and design systems
• Comfortable taking end-to-end responsibility - from software design and development to deployment, monitoring, debugging, and handling migrations
• Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development workflows
• Interested in contributing to the long-term product vision from a frontend perspective

Home office arrangement: 3 days per week presence desired
