By leveraging machine learning, advanced data processing, and cutting-edge web technologies, we aim to significantly reduce cycle times, increase customer satisfaction, and provide an intuitive, seamless user experience. 

For our location in Lingen (Ems) or Osnabrück we are looking for a 

Cloud Engineer (Azure) (all genders welcome) 

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, setting up, and operating our Core Cloud Infrastructure. Additionally, you will integrate cloud services into our Developer Platform, incorporating FinOps practices to ensure cost-effective and efficient cloud operations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 


  • Design, set up, and operate the Core Cloud Infrastructure
  • Integrate cloud services into the Developer Platform, including financial operations (FinOps)
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, OpenTofu and Crossplane
  • Utilize Azure Cloud services effectively
  • Develop and maintain scripts and applications using Python and Go
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Azure Pipelines
  • Implement FinOps tools
  • Ensure the security and networking of the cloud infrastructure

Requirements

 

To become part of the ROSEN family, you will demonstrate analytical thinking and an independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach. You also bring: 

  • Degree in software engineering, computer science, or related technical field
  • Extensive experience 3 years plus with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform
  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud services
  • Programming and scripting skills in Python and Go
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including ArgoCD and Azure Pipelines
  • Knowledge of FinOps tools
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and networking
  • Beneficial is a certification AZ104
  • Motivation to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
