Job description
The Cross Platform Team within Mobile capture data from applications built with Flutter, React Native, .NET MAUI and Cordova, which is then visualized within Dynatrace. Additionally, we maintain OpenKit, a lightweight SDK for custom data capture. Collaborating with international teams across multiple technology stacks.
Project Description:
- We build cross-platform agents that capture performance data from applications developed with frameworks like React Native, Flutter, .NET MAUI and Cordova — measuring user interactions, web requests, errors, crashes and much more.
- Our agents heavily rely on the native Android and iOS agents, so close collaboration and communication with those teams is key.
- Capturing data from React Native applications requires deep, detailed-level work.
- Research needs to be conducted and a high level of attention to detail is essential to determine what is technically possible and what is not.
- The daily challenges in this role go well beyond common issues that React Native application developers face — we operate much more under the surface.
Your Job Role:
- Lead feature developments end-to-end — from understanding requirements on the PM/PA side, evaluating options in discussion with colleagues, to delivering the final solution.
- Conduct research and deep technical investigations to push the boundaries of what is possible within React Native internals.
- Build, maintain, improve and deliver the features your team owns, throughout their lifecycle.
- Write high-quality code to create new features and fix bugs.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, design principles, accessibility, performance and security standards.
- Proactively participate in and drive code reviews, raising the quality bar for the team.
- Solve complex problems independently and take ownership of technical decisions.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders in other countries to solve problems and drive decisions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React Native, which is a key technology for this position.
- Strong knowledge of native mobile (IOS / Android), with an interest in learning new mobile technologies.
- An SDK development mindset — you are not building applications, you are providing software for other engineers.
- Understanding that your consumers are developers shapes how you design, document and ship your work.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, leading full-lifecycle developments and driving them to completion.
- Hands on experience as a Software Engineer, with deep knowledge of SDK development, getting complex projects completed and into production.
- Experience with Agile practices such as Scrum / Kanban etc.
Nice to have:
- Flutter, .NET MAUI, or Cordova experience.
Benefits & conditions
- We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
- Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to list a salary range for this position, which is €61,000 up to €76,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We’ve listed the salary range for transparency, but if your experience and skills bring unique value, we’d still love to hear from you—please apply even if you’re outside the range.
