
Senior Tech Consultant M365 (Tenant) at Riverty
Requirements
- Demonstrated ownership of M365 tenant governance and cross-service administration (EXO/SPO/ODB/Teams).
- Deep Exchange Online expertise (transport, hygiene, connectors, policies) plus strong SPO/Teams/OneDrive admin skills.
- Solid grasp of Entra ID, Purview controls, and how compliance maps to M365 configurations.
- Proficiency with EXO/SPO/Teams PowerShell and Graph API; version-controlled changes and documentation.
- Ability to assess Message Center changes, define readiness criteria, and coordinate cross-service rollout.
- Clear technical writing; ability to produce concise, authoritative admin guidance.
- Stakeholder leadership with Security, Compliance, Engineering, and the Adoption Consultant; decisive, data-driven problem solving.
- Pragmatic mindset balancing control rigor with user productivity; mentoring orientation toward junior colleagues.
- Open-minded and comfortable working within a multicultural team environment.
- Ability to embrace change and innovation, contributing to a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to travel internationally.
Scope of Work
- Define and maintain tenant-wide policies, baselines, and templates for M365 services.
- Lead Exchange Online administration (org settings, transport, role models) and hygiene/mail flow posture.
- Govern SharePoint/OneDrive configuration, information architecture patterns, and sharing/retention defaults.
- Manage Teams policies, templates, lifecycle rules, and app/integration permissions.
- Coordinate cross-service change intake and readiness; review release impacts and drive adoption prerequisites with the Adoption Consultant.
- Maintain authoritative admin guidance and FAQs; ensure documentation remains current and traceable.
- Monitor service health/telemetry and drive corrective actions with service owners and security.
- Partner with central governance (e.g., Cloud Governance) to align controls, exceptions, and evidence.
