Part Time Junior Python Backend / GenAI Support Intern at Eltemate

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience coding in Python (ideally using FastAPI).
Version control software (Git/BitBucket)
SQL knowledge including basic understanding of database migrations.
Interest in AI and NLP systems.
Attention to detail and clear communication.
Ability to work collaboratively with developers, QA, and product managers.
Optional: Jira and Azure.
Optional: Knowledge of Javascript is a big plus

Ideal for a computer-science student, trainee, or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience in AI product maintenance and development within a legal-tech environment.

Scope of Work

Address technical support second-tier issues which require error investigation and light code fixes.
Investigate and reproduce user-reported bugs and support tickets (e.g., incorrect AI chat references, prompt handling, or simple UI/logic errors).
Implement code fixes and improvements aligning with product, especially in regard to API endpoints e.g. using FastAPI.
Adjust and optimize AI prompts, templates, and configuration files.
Collaborate closely with QA and product to verify bug fixes before release.
