Requirements
We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team and take part in our automated test coverage. You’ll work with Playwright to build robust, high-impact end-to-end tests, and contribute backend unit and integration tests in Python to ensure API stability and backend reliability. You’ll collaborate closely with the dev team and fellow QA engineers to anticipate edge cases, prevent regressions, and continuously raise the bar for quality across the stack.
· Hands-on experience with Playwright for web UI automation (TypeScript/JavaScript).
· Demonstrable experience in quality engineering with a focus on cloud environments, microservices, and enterprise-scale applications.
· High proficiency in Full Stack JavaScript ecosystems and tools such as Node.js, React, Express.js, and associated testing frameworks.
· Expertise in designing and implementing testing protocols for GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
· Advanced knowledge of cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with a strong grasp on deploying scalable and secure applications.
· Python scripting abilities and familiarity with its testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) are highly desirable.
· Ability to perform well in high pressure environments.
· Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and operate in a fast-paced environment.
· Good understanding of testing principles, test case design, and test data handling.
· Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented approach to testing.
· Fluent English.
Nice to haves:
· A strategic thinker focused on preventative measures rather than reactive solutions.
· Persistent attention to detail, driving the highest standards of quality in both new and existing technologies.
· Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical team members.
· Eagerness to stay ahead of technology trends with an innovative mindset towards tools, methodologies, and best practices in quality engineering.
· Understanding of testing strategy, test planning, or shift-left testing.
· Ability to work independently with a strong sense of task ownership.
