Senior Software Engineer at Aeon

Requirements

8+ years of experience with full-stack software engineering
Substantial experience working with the technologies in our tech stack: frontend development with react.js and/or vue.js, backend development with node.js (Express) and - a big plus - Go, hosting on AWS
Overall strong expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks
A strong interest in the way our users perceive the software you ship and how it performs at addressing their needs and pain points
A mindset of feeling comfortable in ambiguity, in a place with quickly shifting priorities quickly while maintaining a high degree of organization
Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps
A track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring others
A passion for health technology and improving people's lives
It is a big plus if you have worked in the space of medical software or other highly regulated areas before
Proficiency in English
Located in the European Union, UK or Switzerland

Scope of Work

Lead the development of our customer application end-to-end.
Implement a truly delightful user experience
Develop and execute on our vision of building a highly effective end-to-end pipeline from raw health data (imaging, lab data and more) to actionable insights
Drive technical decisions and architecture choices
Collaborate directly with the company leadership to develop and translate product vision into technical reality
Mentor future team members and help build our engineering culture
Take full ownership of large and complex features from conception to deployment
