Job description
In this position, you will work on the development and integration of complex electronic systems together with our customers regarding system performance, functional safety, reliability, and robustness. Our customers are the leading aerospace integrators and OEMs, allowing you to participate in projects of tomorrow's aviation and space vehicles.
Your Tasks
- Creating and maintaining system level requirements and design documents
- Performing design analysis and trade-off studies
- Driving verification and test activities to meet product compliance
- Performing of safety, reliability, testability and failure root cause analysis for flight systems
- Working closely together with all engineering teams and project managers to drive technical solutions and ensure process compliance
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the system development and safety standards and procedure
Requirements
- University degree in technical studies (e.g. Computer Science, Electronics or related fields)
- Solid experience in the development of embedded hardware or software systems
- A good understanding of embedded system architectures and of safety critical and fault tolerant architectures
- Knowledge of ARP 4754/4761, DO-254, DO-178 or ECSS standards is an advantage
- Proactive, collaborative and reliable team player
- Very good command of English, German is a plus

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 58,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
