Job description
We are looking for a dedicated German-speaking Field Services Support Engineer based in Oberwart, Austria, to provide on-site technical assistance and hands-on support for IT infrastructure and user operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT service delivery while coordinating with both local and global support teams to maintain optimal system performance and user satisfaction., * Field Services / Hands & Feet Support: Provide on-site support for hardware, network, and data center equipment based on service requests or incident reports.

Basic Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to IT infrastructure and data center equipment.

Service Desk (German Calls Handling): Handle and log user issues or service requests in German via phone, email, or ticketing systems.

Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure timely issue resolution and maintenance activities.

Device Provisioning & Onboarding: Support hardware setup, device imaging, and assist in onboarding new users and resources.

AV Room & Equipment Management: Provide first-level troubleshooting for AV meeting rooms and coordinate with relevant teams for equipment support.

Printer Management: Address printer issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with printer service vendors as needed.

OT Equipment Coordination: Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting activities for operational technology equipment.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in IT field support, desktop support, or IT service operations.
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of data center equipment and networking components.
- Proficiency in hardware setup, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong coordination and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage on-site user requests efficiently.
