Senior Java Developer

In this role you'll work closely with product teams, developers and stakeholders to bring ideas to life through clean, maintainable code and thoughtful implementation. You'll be instrumental in driving forward the development of platforms and services that align with business goals and user needs.

• Develop and maintain software components that support our business objectives, with a focus on performance, reliability and security, and be responsible for the implementations you engineer
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and break down complex problems into manageable development tasks
• Contribute to code reviews, share knowledge and help uphold engineering best practices
• Participate in testing, debugging and resolving issues to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Write clear, concise documentation to support your work and help others build on it
• Support the adoption of agile workflows and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and team learning
• Explore and experiment with new technologies and approaches that could improve product quality or team productivity

Do you have 7+ years of experience in software development (Java) with a solid understanding of software engineering principles and experience writing production-ready code?

• Do you have at least one year of experience with Spring Boot and with relational databases (preferred PostgreSQL)?

Do you have a proven ability to implement cloud-native applications (AWS)? *

Are you familiar with event driven architecture & tools (preferable Kafka) as well as with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices?
