Job description

We are looking for an experienced COBOL Developer to join our team in maintaining, optimizing, and modernizing our legacy systems. As an application developer, you will be part of a dynamic Agile team. You will work on business-critical applications within a complex IT environment, collaborating with other developers, analysts, and project managers.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience with COBOL
Developing, testing, and maintaining applications written in COBOL (both batch and online)
Strong analytical skills, independent, and solution-oriented
Collaborating with functional analysts and end users to translate requirements into technical solutions
Troubleshooting and resolving incidents in production environments
Documenting technical designs and changes Competencies
Experience with mainframe environments (CICS, JCL, DB2)
Familiarity with tools such as IDZ and VSAM
Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English
Strong analytical skills, independent, and solution-oriented Skills
CICS Level: Intermediate
Cobol Level: Expert
DB2 Level: Intermediate
