Job description
As a Senior Network Consultant, you act as a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance and strategic direction in the areas of network infrastructure and network security.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert advisor for ad-hoc technical questions related to general networking and network security.
- Analyze, design, and support solutions related to network infrastructure, technologies, applications, management, and security.
This includes:
- Infrastructure: network environments based on routers, switches, interconnectivity, remote access, secure VPN, SASE solutions, etc.
- Applications: email, management tools, proxies, DNS, DHCP, and related systems.
- Management: monitoring tools, capacity management, configuration, SLA follow-up, etc.
- Security: firewalls, proxies, antivirus, IDS, VPN, threat analysis, and more.
- Continuously evaluate the current network landscape against new technologies and solutions.
- Identify improvement opportunities and optimization paths within the existing network environment.
- Oversee the broader context of network security in both current and future environments, aligning with modern cybersecurity practices.
- Organize workshops to define new visions and strategies for future network architectures and operations.
