DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes & Infrastructure

• Operate and enhance a Kubernetes-based DevOps environment.
• Develop automated processes for system configuration and daily operations.
• Support development teams within the DevOps landscape.
• Implement observability practices (logging, monitoring, alerting) for Kubernetes clusters and running applications.
• Design, document, and implement configuration adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, especially change management.

We are looking for a skilled DevOps System Engineer with strong system administration experience and proven expertise in Kubernetes and CI/CD environments. You will join a collaborative team managing a large-scale DevOps environment, ensuring stability, automation, and observability across platforms and applications., * System Administration: At least 3 years of hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and managing IT systems.

• Kubernetes: 3+ years of proven expertise in managing Kubernetes environments.
• CI/CD: 3+ years of experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Logging & Monitoring: 3+ years of practical experience.
• System Expertise: Knowledge of at least one specialist system (Unix/Linux/Windows, mainframe, middleware, security, network & communication systems, AD, LDAP, email, SharePoint, Documentum, etc.).
• Language: Fluent Dutch (C2).

Should-Have Skills

• Automation tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• Scripting: Python (3+ years).
• DevOps toolset: GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, ArgoCD, Helm.
• Observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Thanos.
• Experience with ITIL processes (especially change management).
• Experience with ICT infrastructure solutions.
